A unique Harry Potter-themed drone show is set to take place in the Valley, giving fans a chance to experience the wizarding world in a completely different way through lights, music, and technology.
The event, called the “DroneArt Show: Harry Potter,” is scheduled for May 1 and May 2, 2026, at the Great Lawn outside State Farm Stadium in Glendale. It’s being described as a first-of-its-kind open-air drone spectacle that brings scenes from the Harry Potter series to life in the night sky.
During the show, around 1,200 illuminated drones will fly in synchronized patterns, recreating iconic moments from the films. The performance will be choreographed to music from the Harry Potter soundtracks, along with recognizable dialogue, creating a fully immersive experience for fans.
The event will also include live music elements, enhancing the overall atmosphere and adding another layer to the storytelling. Attendees will receive LED wristbands that light up and interact with the show, making them part of the experience as the drones move in sync with the performance.
Each night’s show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m. to allow guests time to settle in and enjoy the pre-show activities. Before the main event starts, visitors can explore food and drink options and browse themed merchandise tied to the Harry Potter universe.
The production is part of an international tour organized by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever, celebrating “25 Years of Magic” from the Harry Potter franchise.
Ticket prices vary depending on age and options. General admission for adults starts at $49.90, while tickets for children ages 3 to 11 begin at $34.90. Children under 3 can attend for free. Group ticket options are also available, and parking can be added during checkout for $15.
Overall, the event offers a combination of entertainment, technology, and nostalgia, giving fans a chance to experience the Harry Potter story in a large-scale outdoor setting unlike anything typically seen in traditional shows.
