Arizona Railway Day Returns Feb. 28 with Free Family Fun in Chandler
The Arizona Railway Museum will celebrate more than 150 years of Arizona railroading during its annual Arizona Railway Day on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 330 E. Ryan Road in Chandler.
This free community event invites visitors to step inside historic railroad cars, explore vintage locomotives, and enjoy open-air displays showcasing the trains that helped shape the state’s history. Guests can also experience hands-on activities, including the chance to ring the bell and blow the whistle on a steam locomotive—always a crowd favorite.
Parking is free at nearby Tumbleweed Park, making it an easy outing for families, train enthusiasts, and history lovers alike.
