A nationwide recall has been issued for more than 158,000 aluminum outdoor chairs and barstools after federal safety officials warned that the products pose a significant fall risk. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that the legs on the affected furniture can bend or break during use, leading to multiple injuries.
The recall involves three models of Lancaster Table & Seating Powder‑Coated Aluminum Outdoor Chairs and Barstools, sold in armchair, side‑chair, and barstool styles. The products were available in a wide range of colors—including blue, brown, gray, red, white, aqua, black, green, burgundy, yellow, and orange—and were sold under 180 item numbers. They were distributed through Clark Pro and Clark National Accounts, as well as online retailers such as WebstaurantStore, TheRestaurantStore, and QuickSupply between April 2020 and October 2025. Prices ranged from $55 to $133.
According to the CPSC, the manufacturer received 36 reports of bent or broken chair legs, resulting in four falls and three injuries. Officials are urging consumers to stop using the recalled products immediately.
Customers can request a full refund by contacting Clark Associates. The CPSC instructs owners to register their products online, mark the chairs or barstools with the word “Recalled” in a visible location, and dispose of them according to local regulations.
