The Chandler Chamber of Commerce, the Gila River Indian Community, and the City of Chandler confirmed the move, noting that Rawhide offers the space and infrastructure needed as attendance and attractions expand.
Festival officials said the new venue will allow for improved facilities, more room for rides and activities, and enhanced amenities for guests. Rawhide’s larger footprint also supports increased parking and upgraded utilities, including permanent restrooms and running water throughout the grounds.
Two‑Weekend Event Returns in 2026
The 2026 Ostrich Festival will again span two weekends—March 13–15 and March 20–22—continuing a format that has helped the event grow into one of Arizona’s most popular family festivals.
A Growing Tradition
Founded in 1989 to celebrate Chandler’s early ostrich‑ranching history, the festival has evolved into a major regional attraction featuring national music acts, dozens of rides, and hundreds of vendors. The 2026 entertainment lineup will be announced at a later date.
