Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert is bringing back the beloved musical Always… Patsy Cline offering audiences a nostalgic tribute to the country legend’s life and music.
Hale Centre Theatre will open its 2026 season with Always… Patsy Cline, a heartfelt musical celebrating the life and music of country star Patsy Cline. The show runs January 20 through April 7, 2026, offering Valley audiences a mix of humor, storytelling, and classic hits. Based on a true story, the musical follows the friendship between Cline and Houston fan Louise Seger, who met the singer in a Texas honky‑tonk in 1961. Their bond, preserved through letters and phone calls, forms the heart of the production.
The show features 27 of Cline’s best‑known songs, including “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams,” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.” Audiences can expect down‑home humor, emotional moments, and even some light audience participation.
The production is created by Ted Swindley, directed by Cambrian James, with music direction by Lincoln Wright. Performances run approximately two hours.
Tickets are $62 for adults and $39 for youth ages 5–17. Children under 5 are not permitted. An ASL‑interpreted performance is scheduled for Monday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m.
