Downtown Tempe’s 2nd Sundays on Mill is transforming Mill Avenue into a lively outdoor marketplace on select Sundays. The free, family‑friendly event features more than 75 local artists, makers, and small businesses, along with live music, street performers, hands‑on activities, and themed programming.
The market runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Mill Avenue between 3rd Street and University Drive, offering food vendors, interactive art, kids’ activities, and rotating monthly themes such as multicultural celebrations, creative workshops, community love, and urban adventure.
Presented by the Downtown Tempe Authority, the series invites visitors to stroll a car‑free Mill Avenue, enjoy entertainment on multiple corners, and explore pop‑ups. ranging from lawn games to scavenger hunts. A dedicated Kids Market also highlights young entrepreneurs.
