Authorities in Maricopa County are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing elderly woman who suffers from a medical condition that causes confusion and disorientation.
Melody Ann La Gue, 74, was last seen on foot around 2 p.m. on December 26, 2025, near the 1100 block of East Baseline Road in Gilbert, Arizona.
She is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans, and carrying a pink purse.
Due to concerns for her welfare, the Arizona Department of Public Safety has issued a SAFE Alert (Silver Alert for Endangered Adults) across Maricopa County. The Gilbert Police Department is leading the search efforts.
The SAFE Alert system is designed to quickly mobilize community support in locating vulnerable missing adults believed to be in danger.
Anyone with information about Melody Ann La Gue’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Gilbert Police Department at 480-503-6500, speak with Officer Sheppard, or call 911 immediately.
